After going to bed last night proud of myself for finally launching our family blog I realized I didn't spend enough time talking about what is most important in our lives! The Kids! So here is a little about each of them. (Wow that felt weird - each. of. them. ... we don't have that many, just the 3) Here goes~

First there is our incomparable Jaiden. At 6 years old we are regularly blown away by his desire to know and understand everything. He is truly a friend to the friendless and his compassion has no end. He loves baseball and cannot wait to begin his third season in the Spring! He will be entering Kindergarten (we held him back a year) in the Fall at Huntington Christian School here in Huntington Beach. He loves learning and we hope he will be a blessing to that school and it to us as well. Jaiden loves Transformers and Dinosaurs! As of now his life's aspiration is to become a Paleontologist.

Second is Dreya who is appropriately named after her grandma Andrea. If you know both of them you clearly understand why the name means courageous! She is a ball of energy and you literally cannot keep this girl clean. She wants to feel and explore everything and the messier she get the happier she is. She has been an avid thumbsucker since day one and aside from it proabably not being the best for her teeth - it is adorable. (I probably won't be thinking that at our first orthodontist's appointment.) She is funny and bright and very daring! Dreya is excited for her upcoming 4th birthday in September and starting pre-school as well.
Last and certainly not hungriest is our Grant. Newest to our family we are still figuring him out and loving every moment of it! He was born May 22 at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital in Fountain Valley and it was an amazing experience!
I am truly blown away at how even after doing this two times already it is no less miraculous to meet your child for the first time. Grant is a sweetheart! He is friendly and happy! No skimping on the smiles and chatter from this little boy, or sleep for that matter. Every night he averages 12-14 hours of it and you won't ever hear me complain! (That's not a type-o - 12-14 hours! Yes! I'm blown away, too!) We are happy to begin this journey with a new baby in our home and love watching him grow everyday!
God blessed us when he gave us each other to call family and we are grateful to Him that we get to spend the rest of our lives together!
...this is only just the beginning!
